We have a Bermuda of the USA poster. It lists the prices for days trips from Hatteras- 3.75 or 4.50 with lunch. 😂

Kameron one more month babe!!!

Yes it is!

I am so fortunate that BlackBeards Lodge and Helena Restrepo Stevens does not charge me extra as this porch is where I set up for my time there in a rocking chair, cocktail, cigar and a book or tunes. My go to place to get away

In the mid 90's my first visit, such a homey feel, quiet, truly enjoyable just relaxing there. The manager at the time was a former law enforcement officer of some kind, I believe a true Ocracoken, if I can call him that, really enjoyed his stories and his Ocracoke accent. Can't remember his name but always entertaining to talk to.

I got married on Ocracoke at sunrise. Beginning of a new day and a new life together! We stayed here in one of the rooms with private balcony and loved it! Everyone was super nice and I’ll definitely be back with my family of three now!

Looking forward to our first memories there this summer!

Coming in on the ferry after dark not knowing what to expect, but knowing your husband loved the place from his stay years earlier. Loved it and can’t wait to come back!

Been enjoying Blackbeards lodge for over 14 years. Our best memories are with the innkeeper’s family and cooking outside of room and their young boys would join us for what ever we BBQ’d what fun times they were. We have never stayed anywhere else on Ocracoke all these years, it’s hard to beat perfection 🙂 you guys rock

The restaurant you guys used to have, you guys made the best fried bluefish

My now husband and I spent our first weekend together at Blackbeard’s after reconnecting 20+ years after college! Beautiful, comfortable place that I will always cherish!

My first memory of Blackbeard's is your wonderful black and white cat whose name is Blackbeard.

My dad was in the coast guard, him and my Mom were stationed in ocracoke in 1995 when I was born. After years of trying for a baby they chose adoption. I was adopted at birth from a hospital in Virginia and I was brought home on the ferry. The first year of my life was spent on ocracoke island. We lived in a house owned by Kenny balance. My Mom worked at blackbeards lodge. I'm now married with 2 babies and we stayed here a couple summers ago. Ocracoke has a special place in my heart ❤

Meeting new friends while hanging out on the porch swings. We’ve had several good times staying at Blackbeard’s. Never long enough.

Sitting on the steps till the weeeee hours of the morning talking and giggling with the most wonderful husband, and an amazing friend.

When I brought my boyfriend to Ocracoke for the first time, we stayed there in one of the upstairs rooms. He kept saying "this place is great!". That's when I knew he was the one! We are now married.

Our 1st anniversary and next three years after, until we had a little one, but we will be back soon hopefully! Absolutely love Blackbeard’s!

The early 1970s, when we stopped camping and began enjoying Blackbeards.

My husband and I stayed there to celebrate our anniversary. I can't remember the year. But it was February. It was when the new owner, Chip, was just getting started. His family hadn't even moved there yet. Chip was so welcoming and he even joined us for homemade chili in our room! We enjoyed many more visits over the years. Ross and I are way overdue for another stay at Blackbeard's!!
